Psychology QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A. PROFESSOR The Professor is a Senior Academic Staff who is to provide administrative and academic leadership in the faculty Qualifications i. A Ph.D degree in relevant academic discipline from a recognized University ii. Evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals iii. Membership of relevant professional bodies iv. Considerable knowledge and application of Information Technology v. Must have attained the rank of Professor at time of application. Experience Candidates applying for the position of Professor, must have a minimum number of ten (10) years post-doctoral teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution and must also be specialist in core areas of departmental fields of study. Candidates must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership. Administrative experience in a tertiary institution will be an added advantage. SALARY: CONUASS 7 (N 4,580,349.00 – N 6,020,163.00) B. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR The Associate Professor is a Senior Academic Staff of a Faculty whose duty is to assist the Dean generally in the administration of the Faculty. He/She is to provide leadership, undertake research and participate in University/Professional/ Community Services. Qualifications i. A Ph.D degree in relevant academic discipline from a recognized University. ii. Evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals iii. Membership of relevant professional bodies iv. Appreciable knowledge and application of Information Technology Experience Candidates must have a minimum of eight (8) years post-doctoral research, teaching and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. SALARY: CONUASS 6 (N 3,768,221.00 – N 5,004,750.00) C. SENIOR LECTURER The Senior Lecturer is a Senior Academic Staff of a Faculty whose duties are similar to that of the Associate Professor above. Qualifications Same as those demanded of an Associate Professor Experience Candidates must have a minimum of six (6) years post-doctoral teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. SALARY: CONUASS 5 (N 3,091,505.00 – N 4,455,506.00) NOTE i. All candidates must possess one of the following as applicable a. NYSC Discharge Certificate b. NYSC Exemption Certificate c. NYSC Certificate of Exclusion ii. Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved Salary Scale for Federal Universities in Nigeria; iii. Computer literacy is required for all advertised positions. D. Deadline for Registration
Registration for the Post-UTME Test closes at the end of banking hours on 28th July, 2014. 

Test Requirements
Candidates are required to come with the following items:
i. 2014/2015 original UTME Result slip showing candidates photo and score.
ii. HB Pencil, eraser, and a ball-point pen.
