FUNAI MOURNS: ONE OF FUNAI DOGS JOINS THE ANCESTORS

It was a shocking demise as one of Funai dogs departed in a mind blowing way. We still imaging why Funai brought in dogs into the school compound; dogs too frightening to behold. This isn’t a fallacy. Old and new students can give a crystal clear witness about the menace of those wide creatures teetered at strategic positions in the University.
It was on a cool evening, few weeks ago, when one of the dogs located by the entrance of the school back gate, got loosed and attacked Ikwo passers-by. Missing the human target, the dog attacked some sheep at the back gate and fed on it. The sheep gave up the ghost while the dog ran back to the school and gave up the ghost too.
But what caused the death of the dog? Is it a mythical taboo for a dog to eat the flesh of a sheep? These were the questions we were left with unanswered. Immediately, the Veterinary Doctor arrived the scene, loading the dog with several injections but to no avail.

It is still an issue to ponder on. An opinion to air, if possible to the Dean of student affairs. We imagine the kind of canned food bought periodically for these dogs with which they grow notorious. The picture above shows the canned food bought last week for the purpose of the feeding of the dogs. The weekly income allocated by the federal government to these dogs is enough to take care of myriads of students who slip garri in the hostel. We have long debated over the owner of the bags of rice and beans at one corner of the school auditorium, until we finally discovered that they were for the nourishment of the world class dogs. Mr. Ogbonna, one of the provision store owners at the back gate reported the magnitude of the ingredients they come to purchase for the preparation of the dog’s meal. Oh what a world class university, where dogs receive their monthly allowance.
Freshers, BEWARE OF WIDE DOGS!  Woh! Woh! Woh! Woh! Woh!

FUNAI PROCEEDS SCREENING EXERCISE

On Monday, 27th morning, freshers began flooding into the university. While a greater percentage of the freshmen came only for the purpose of screening, some landed into school with loads on their back like refugees. It was a sudden disappointment when it was unleashed to them by the Potters and Pottress that only the freshers who have paid their school fees will be given accommodation, but to remain a World Class University, FUNAI had to keep their loads for them to go and pay their school fees and return to have full access into their room. But never will you pass the night there until you’ve paid your school fees.
It was a sunny day, especially at the mid day, when hundreds of admitted students saturated the school premises. Funai Land correspondent, OMAKA De HOD was there to bring you the latest trend to the page of FUNAI LAND.
Fresh students were mandated to face several processes which subjected them under the heat of the hellish heat of the sun in Ikwo region. Most of the procedures followed was to make two copies each of the individual credentials and placed in a large file , then presented to the department HOD for proper screening. Students who attained this stage where given a form to take to their faculty officer to obtain the officer’s signature. After that, they were made to go back to the department office with the signed form for the final record. Students who finished these processes where told to go ahead and pay school fees and after two days they will bring the teller to the school bursary to change the teller to receipt. With the school fees receipt, one can go to the hostel to obtain accommodation.
Whenever you need help or instructions on what to do during your screening, feel free to contact our correspondent, OMAKA on 07030537705 for instant help on Whatsapp, voice call or live in the school.
